TUPELO, Miss.–It started as a family fight and escalated into a family shooting Tuesday morning in Tupelo. Eric Isby is dead and the person who shot him was his sister Latosha, say neighbors. Police have Latosha Isby in jail.
It was not clear how the fight got started and police would not even say if the two were brother and sister, but WTVA TV spoke with neighbors who said it was indeed the brother who took the bullet.
Eric Isby died Tuesday afternoon at North Miss. Medical Center.
Police were expected to release more information Wednesday morning.
As for the sister, she was expected to be in court Wednesday for her first appearance to answer to the charge of murder.
