It’s another Friday of high school football, and here are the big games to watch this week.
*All games have a kickoff of 7pm unless otherwise stated*
Starkville at West Point
The Yellowjackets take on the Green Wave as Starkville travels to West Point. This is a battle of the undefeated teams.
Northwest Rankin at Pearl
A big Rankin county rival is set up for between Northwest Rankin and Pearl as the Cougars head into Pirate territory. Undefeated Pearl is still holding strong as the number one team in the state after a big win over Warren Central last week, and Northwest Rankin, also undefeated, took down Ridgeland last week.
Laurel at Oak Grove
Another Pine Belt rival this week pins Laurel against Oak Grove.. The Oak Grove Warriors are undefeated but Laurel is coming off last week’s loss to Hattiesburg in the Battle of the Little Brown Jug.
Brandon at Clinton
The Brandon Bulldogs will take the trek down 20 to face the Clinton Arrows in one of the area’s oldest rivalries, both coming off wins last week.
