Police say thieves may be watching to see if you got any expensive Christmas gifts.
They advise you cut up boxes and even wait a few days before putting them out to be picked up by your recycling service.
They also say it’s a good idea to keep an eye out in your neighborhood for people who may be driving around snooping around trash cans.
