How to Protect Your Kids From Lice and Flu

JACKSON, Miss. – As the temperatures begin to drop flu and lice really begin to hit their stride.

Sandi Beason is with the Clinton school district and says cleanliness is key. Beason says, “Keep your hands clean, keep them washed and certainly keep surfaces clean and keep them washed.”

Lice is also a big problem this time of year. According to Beason, “We encourage people not to share things like hair brushes and combs, not to share hats or helmets.”
