Internet Luring Arrest at Okatibbee Lake

COLLINSVILLE, Miss.–Accused of trying to initiate a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old, 49-year-old Kenneth Wallace is now under arrest in Lauderdale County. The girl’s parents turned him in to Lauderdale deputies, who posed as the girl after they got the case.

It took about a week for the whole thing to happen, according to WTOK in Meridian. The girl’s parents told Sheriff Billy Sollie and crew that the Collinsville man had contacted their daughter over the web and was making advances.

Those deputies then pretended to be the girl for about a week and arranged a meeting at Okatibbee Lake. When Wallace got there, cops nabbed him.

He’s now charged with two counts of child exploitation and could get 40 years if he’s convicted. The case goes to the grand jury.
