Yes, these are kudzu bugs. These insects first showed up in the US about five years ago, and in Mississippi three years ago. Now they are pretty much statewide. They feed on kudzu, but are also capable of causing significant yield losses in soybeans. In the fall they fly to buildings, houses, Campers, and RV, congregate on the walls in large numbers, and become a substantial nuisance for affected homeowners.
