A Lewisburg Elementary School fifth-grader class, got to experience an exciting day in the classroom, thanks to a grant given by the DeSoto County Economic Council.
Kids dressed in surgical scrubs were visited by a cardiovascular specialist, wildlife biologist and neuroscientist in the classroom. Then they got to work getting hands-on with animal organs!
