More Jobs in Mississippi: FXI Adding Clientele and 60 New Workers

BALDWYN, MISS– FXI announced today that they are expanding operations and adding 60 new jobs to their workforce.

FXI produces polyurethane foams, and representatives with the company say they are able to expand their business because of an expanded client base in the healthcare industry. The sixty new jobs will help meet the rising demands at their Prentiss County plant and investing $700,000 into the future of their product.

Along with the jobs, the company will be bringing in new automated equipment that will make production time much faster.

“Today is a great day for Prentiss County and north Mississippi as FXI grows its operations in Baldwyn and provides sixty people with new job opportunities,” says Governor Phil Bryant, “Our existing businesses are at the core of the state’s economy, and when they choose to expand, it shows the world great things are happening here and Mississippi is open for business. I wish FXI many more years of success in Baldwyn.”

FXI’s polyurethane foam is used in the healthcare, home, electronics, personal care, industrial and transportation industries.
