GREENWOOD, Miss. — Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. has announced plans to expand in Greenwood, creating as many as 126 new jobs this year.
A plant manager said Milwaukee Tool’s is relocating its repair and reconditioning operation from California to Greenwood. The company and its’ 487 workers have been at the Greenwood-Leflore Industrial Park since 2001. To get the relocation space, the Greenwood City Council approved the company’s selection of a vacant building once used by Friction Holding.
