JACKSON, Miss.- Police in Jackson are looking for suspects who were involved in an incident in which an officer was injured.
The incident occurred on Meadows Street Wednesday evening. Police responded to a carjacking and the suspect or suspects fired at police. Officers then shot back.
Two people then left the scene in the carjacked black 2016 Chevy Impala. The car was then found on Lee Street but the shooters have not been located.
One officer was shot, but has only minor injuries.
