JACKSON, MISS– A Hattiesburg teen has won the $100,000 Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway.
Jarrius Adams, 19, won the scholarship over the weekend with a football throw-off at the Wisconsin-Penn State Big 10 conference game Saturday.
In Adams Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway entry, he said he has a passion for politics, and he hopes to provide inclusion in American government.
Adams is currently a student at Ole Miss, studying Public Policy leadership and political science.
The university congratulated Adams via Twitter:
