Ole Miss Takes Boise State After Rough First Half

ATLANTA, Ga.–The season opener for the SEC pitted Ole Miss as a ten point favorite against Boise State at the Georgia dome. The Rebs had a tough first half, but managed to score 28 points in the second half to bring the final to 35-13.

Quarterback Bo Wallace passed 387 yards in the game, while Cody Gore ran for a 76 yard touchdown.

“I knew he was playing for his mom tonight, so that’s good to see,” said Wallace, “not many people get to do that.”

Wallace said he believes Ole Miss could be a legit contender this season.

“We have to play better than we did tonight. We can’t have that lull in the first half against great SEC teams. We’ve got to play better and we’ve got to get ready for Vandy next week,” Wallace told ESPN.
