Silver Alert still active for Vicksburg man

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is still searching for a 60-year-old Vicksburg man after he went Mississippi last Wednesday, October 17th around 12:00 p.m.

The MBI issued a Silver Alert at that time which remains active for William Lemule Hinton.

Hinton is described as a black male, five feet, seven inches tall, weighing 270 pounds with brown eyes and black low cut hair.

He was last seen walking down Belva Drive in Vicksburg wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots.

Family members say he suffers from a mental illness which may impair his judgment. If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of William Lemule Hinton contact the Vicksburg Police Department at 601-631-8800.
