Thursday weather rundown 5-11-17

Another round of thunderstorms could be in the cards in the coming nights.

This morning, north Mississippi waking up with some sticky air, not unusual for this time of year. Temperatures will shoot out of the lower 60s to top out around 85. Showers and a few thunderstorms are moving in tonight on a cold front. Expect some of those storms to grow in strength late tonight and into the early morning hours tomorrow, then scattering and weakening again thruout your Friday.

Central Mississippi almost a carbon copy: warm and on the muggy side this morning, a high bouncing out of the mid 60s to reach a high around 85. Your timeline for showers and scattered thunderstorms is more thru Friday morning and afternoon. Look for much cooler temperatures following.

South Mississippi a little breezy this morning, temperatures working out of the mid 60s toward a high in the lower 80s. You’re looking at thunderstorms scattered thruout your Friday as well, tho none expected to be too bad.
