Toddler Found Burned and Unresponsive by DHS; Mother and Boyfriend Charged

JACKSON, Miss.- A toddler was found unresponsive by the Department of Human Services in Jackson Wednesday.

The 23-month-old child was found severely burned, was taken to UMMC and is in critical condition.

The mother, 21-year-old Dymond Clement is charged with felony child neglect and her boyfriend, 26-year-old Quenten Johnson is charged with felony child abuse.

Clement has another child, a 6-year-old, who is now in DHS custody, police said.
