LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. — A man, dead from a gunshot wound, was found in his car in Lafayette County over the weekend. According to investigator Jarrett Bundren someone called 911 after spotting the victim’s vehicle at the bottom of a ditch near country road 408.
The man was identified as Jonathan Malone, 24. Lafayette County investigators are working with the MBI on the case. I you have info that could help them out call crime stoppers or the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
