Trial Date Delayed for Ricin Suspect

ABERDEEN, Miss. – The trial date has been delayed for James Everett Dutschke. He is the guy accused of sending ricin laced letters to President Obama, Senator Roger Wicker and Lee County Judge Sadie Holland back in April.

The former martial arts instructor was supposed to appear in court on July 29, but that has now been moved to October 7. His lawyer claims he needs more time to prepare for the trial. Dutschke says he is innocent, but still remains at the Lafayette County Detention Center without bond.
