Bay St. Louis Police continuing to search for deadly hit-and-run suspect

Police on the Mississippi Gulf Coast are continuing to search for a suspect accused of killing a female in a hit-and-run in Bay St. Louis.

Officers with the Bay St. Louis Police Department responded to the collision on Highway 90 near the intersection of Dunbar Avenue on Saturday around 10:35 p.m.

The victim, 41-year-old Brandy Thames, was transported to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Witnesses identified a possible suspect’s vehicle as a dark-colored pickup truck that fled east on Highway 90. Through further investigation, the Bay St. Louis Police Department was able to obtain further suspect information.

The vehicle is believed to be a 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado, extended cab with a bed toolbox. The driver is described as a 25-35-year-old white male, large build, with a blonde curly mullet hairstyle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bay St. Louis Criminal Investigations at (228)466-5475. Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers is also offering $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest and can be reached here or at 1-877-787-5898.
