A group of Yazoo County inmates escaped on Sunday night with four still on the run.

According to a social media post by the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:38 p.m., deputies were driving up to the county jail when they noticed an inmate running back into the facility through the fence. Deputies then informed correctional officers what they saw, spurring a headcount. That’s when they noticed five missing inmates.

While one of the escapees has since been captured, the following are still on the run:

  • Marlon Willis (5’11”, 190 pounds, from Madison, Tenn.)
  • Glen Bassett (6’1”, 190 pounds, from Yazoo)
  • Marcus Green (5’7”, 140 pounds from Yazoo)
  • Deliuwon Stowers (5’9”, 125 pounds from Yazoo)

If you know of their whereabouts or see any of the escaped inmates, you are asked to call (662)746-0014.
