In north Mississippi, there is a flood watch in effect until late Saturday night. Today, rain showers are expected with highs in the lower 70s. Tonight, mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and lows in the lower 60s.

In central Mississippi, a flash flood watch is in effect through later this morning. During the day, mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower 80s. At night, mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers and lows in the lower to mid-60s.

In south Mississippi, partly sunny today with some dense fog in the morning and a chance of showers during the day. Highs are expected to be in the lower 80s. In the evening, mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during the night. There will also be some patchy fog after midnight. Lows will be in the mid-60s.
