JACKSON, Miss.–Shots rang out about midnight in the capital city and now three children are in the hospital. The kids were shot in what is believed to be a dive-by.
There were very few details being offered by Jackson Police as the investigation was unfolding.
The children are aged 3, 5 and 7.
Though shootings are not an uncommon occurrence in Jackson, it is rare that children, especially that young, are the targets.
