Finally Family for 12 Kids in Jackson County Mass Adoption Ceremony

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss– After spending life in foster care, 12 kids from ages five to fifteen have found their forever families.

Imagine the moment when you know your family is complete. Several families found that moment Monday in Jackson County during a mass adoption ceremony by the Jackson County Youth Court and Department of Human Services.

12 children were officially adopted today in the Jackson County Court with Chancery Judge Chuck Bordis presiding. The children ranged from ages five to fifteen.  The adoptive families all gathered in the courtroom for the ceremony. Three siblings were adopted together to one family. Another family said they felt it was God’s calling to adopt.

No matter the story, it was a happy ending for all 12 children. Their lives with their forever families kicked off immediately after the ceremony, starting first with cake and refreshments.
