Headaches bothering you? Here’s some home remedies

JACKSON, Miss.- People suffer from headaches for all different reasons, sometimes you can’t prevent them but there are tips to make them go away. 

Stress, lack of sleep, poor diet, caffeine withdraws, these are causes of headaches and migraines. If you shy away from medications, or simply don’t have them available to you there are some home solutions you can try to get rid of your pain.

Many people suffer from headaches do to a caffeine withdraw. If that’s your case you can grab a cup of coffee, tea, or even a coke to sip on and that should take your symptoms away pretty quickly.

Eating foods rich in B2 like chicken, seafood, milk, and cheese can keep headaches from returning after you get rid of it.

Whole grains and veggies that are rich in magnesium can prevent headaches if you incorporate them in your daily diet.

If you’re not getting enough sleep at night, 7-8 hours is recommended, then you could wake up with  a headache. However, don’t sleep to much or too little this could trigger a migraine.

Essential oils have been used for years but are recently making a new appearance in mainstream America. Using oils like peppermint and lavender can help to alleviate some of your headache symptoms.
