Hidden Camera in Mall Store Leads to Manager’s Firing and Arrest

RIDGELAND, Miss. – An assistant manager at the Hollister store in Northpark Mall has been fired after being arrested on a charge of unauthorized filming of a person.

The mother of a young girl told police she saw Alance McKinney, 28, using his cell phone to video tape the child who was changing clothes in a dressing room.  So far this is the only complaint filed against McKinney.  But investigators have confiscated his cell phone and are looking at other images to determine if he targeted other female customers.

McKinney had worked at the store for a few years.  Hollister’s parent company, Abercrombie and Fitch confirmed Thursday that McKinney had been fired.
