MSU Dorm Named After Late Congressman

JACKSON, Miss. – Mississippi State University has announced it will name one of its dormitories after Congressman Alan Nunnelee.

North Hall was built in 2007 and the College Board recently approved changing its name in honor of the late Congressman.

Nunnelle died February of a brain tumor after serving 15 years as a state senator and five years as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

In 1980, Nunnelle received his bachelor’s degree in marketing form MSU.
