PURVIS, MISS– Lamar County Coroner Cody Creel has identified the man killed in Tuesday’s deadly storms.
Harris Dale Purvis, 73, was killed when his mobile home was completely destroyed during what is yet to be confirmed as a tornado on Sones road.
Trees and power lines were downed and other damage was reported, according to the Lamar County emergency management agency.
