They seem to be happening more often than not. Annoying calls from companies trying to convince you to buy everything under the sun. Some may say you have won something. Others are outright threatening.
Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley is looking to form a secret force of reserve investigators to assist in tracking down dishonest telemarketers who violate the state’s No Call Law.
Presley said, while it’s good for people to report phone numbers of illegal robocalls, he believes volunteers who are trained to ask specific questions and gather valuable information, could be a game changer. Any collected information will be given to investigators.
