It’s hot, hot, hot, and that’s what it’s looking like across the state for the next few days.

In North Mississippi you’ll see highs in the low 90’s today, with only a 20 percent chance of rain. Don’t worry, that Mississippi humidity isn’t going anywhere, and the wind is staying low with a breeze of only 5 mph.

In Central Mississippi rain chances pick up today with nearly 50 percent for showers by the lunch hour. It’s staying pretty warm though, with highs in the low 90’s. It will reach the 80’s once night time hits.

Down in South Mississippi it’s rain all week with a 60 percent chance of showers pretty much all day long today. However, with the rain is coming some cooler temperatures with highs in the mid 80’s dropping into the 70’s this evening.
