Woman Kidnapped, Pistol-Whipped, and Robbed; Arrest Made Weeks Late

BILOXI, Miss. – Biloxi Police have arrested the man they believe kidnapped a woman, beat her with a gun, stole her cell phone and left her locked in a storage closet over two weeks ago.

In a February 7 call to police, the woman told investigators that Samuel Bowie, 21, of Gulfport held her at gunpoint and demanded money.  When she refused, she claim he hit her with his gun and pushed her into a storage closest before fleeing.

Detectives recently found Bowie in Gulfport. He was taken to the Harrison County jail on charges of attempted burglary, kidnapping, armed robbery, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and burglary of a dwelling.
