Blood Not Thick Enough, Drunk Brother Fights Family, Murders Sibling

HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss. – A Hancock County man was sentenced to life in prison Thursday for the murder of his sister in the front yard of the family’s home in 2013.

Investigators said Kevin Boudreaux was intoxicated when he argued with his girlfriend.  His sister, Janell Boudreaux, 21, tried to break up the fight. Police say Boudreaux retrieved a gun, pistol whipped his sister about the head and then ended his attack by shooting her.  Detectives said the argument was over a child custody issue.
