GULFPORT, Miss. – A woman has died after the car she was driving was hit by a freight train in Harrison County Wednesday night.
A coroner said Kathy Paglia, 55, suffered from blunt force trauma to the head and chest and died at the scene. Witnesses reported that Paglia tried to cross the railroad tracks and was struck. At the time she was the only person in the car, which was completely destroyed.
