JACKSON, Miss. – A former nurse has been sentenced to two months in federal prison for smuggling a cell phone into the Federal Correctional Institution in Yazoo City where she worked.
Lavonne Boose, 43, will also be under supervision for one year and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
