Father Jesus has been arrested by the Gulfport PD.

Officers with the Gulfport Police Department arrested the 42-year-old man and charged him with one count of Disturbance of the Peace and one count of Failure to Comply with the Commands of Law Enforcement.

The charges come after a report was called in on Sunday, that a man (Jesus) was armed, and a woman told officers that he had pointed a weapon at her. After interviewing witnesses, police were then able to locate Jesus outside of a home on 11th street. When they found him, he was wearing “a white robe, a gold colored crown and a plainly visible shoulder holster”.

When officers approached Jesus and attempted to ask him about the report he “used loud offensive language which was able to be heard by the public nearby.” A 12 gauge flare gun and flares were recovered, and Jesus was placed under arrest.

Reports say that Jesus had recently attempted to build a church in Gulfport called “Saints of the Most High”, but his request was denied by the city’s planning commission.
