A News Mississippi EXCLUSIVE: An Out of This World Psychic Search for Myra Lewis (Audio Included)

JACKSON, Miss. –It has been a week now since the group Find Me gave a very detailed report of what its’ psychics believe happened to missing Madison County toddler Myra Lewis and where she is possibly located.

While that report will not be made public, News Mississippi talked with one of the 30 psychics whose information was used to compile the leads that have revived the search and provided renewed hope for so many trying to bring her home.

Sunny Dawn Johnston is an internationally renowned psychic medium and bestselling author from Arizona and has been working with Find Me for nearly ten years.  She was emailed Myra’s name, picture, date of birth and the date she went missing by Find Me Founder Kelly Snyder.  “What I do is I print out the picture of the missing person and literally try to tune in to the energy of that person to connect with what has happened to them and where they are,” she explained.  “Then basically, it’s almost like I start seeing a movie.  But it’s different with each missing person.  Sometimes I feel it in my body; and sometimes things just come to me just as a knowing.  I don’t really understand or know why.  They just pop into my head.”

Johnston said Find Me psychics often use different techniques and they each work separately on cases using a form similar to a police report to log information related to each case, including if the person is alive or deceased, where they are located, and if suspects are involved.  “If we believe suspects are involved, we have areas where we can put like a license plate number, street address, city and state, or color of hair; a variety of things as they come to us.”

Based on the Find Me report on Myra Lewis, Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker said some psychics believe she is still alive, while others don’t.  He said the report also identified six GPS locations of Myra’s possible whereabouts. “If I feel guided….I will pull up a Google map and I will print out the map.  I will feel, literally put my hand over it and use my hand to try to tune into the energy,” said Johnston, who possessed an awareness of the spirit world at the age of 13, and began working full time as a psychic medium in 2000.  “Sometimes I print it a little bigger and bigger until I feel like I am connected to a particular place and that’s the latitude and longitude points that I send to Kelly to share with the police.”

News Mississippi asked Johnston if she believes Myra is alive and where is she?  “I cannot share information that might compromise the case.  All the information is confidential and it’s left up to police to share it because many times that information that we have leads to bodies being found and/or arrest.”  But she said the goal of Find Me is to always bring people home.  “Whether home is so that they can have a proper burial and closure for the family and/or if home is to bring them back alive.”

In its’ 12 year history the Find Me group has helped locate 59 missing persons; but Sheriff Tucker said in an earlier interview that he had not personally been involved in a case in which psychic information led to a conclusion. “I would hope that this one would be a first for me.  Until I could have some type involvement where the conclusion is positive, I don’t know how I would feel about it,” he added.

Johnston said skepticism, especially if it’s healthy, is natural.  “But what I always tell people, especially in this particular case, how can it hurt.  Why not give it the opportunity and let it speak for itself?”

Find Me psychics, retired law enforcement personnel, canine search and rescue teams  are all volunteers and offer their services at no cost.  “That’s why we are so passionate about it.  Most of us have children.  How would we feel, what would we want?”

Myra has been missing from her Camden home since March 1, 2014.  Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.  A reward of up to $20,000 is still available.
