Hot Tempers over Illegal Stash Leads to Jail House Fire

VICKSBURG, Miss. — Two Warren County inmates are accused of setting a jumpsuit on fire inside the jail Tuesday

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said Jessica Faye Pope and Marissa Ann Morehead-Greco may have started the fire in their cell block because of their anger. Both women had lost visitation privileges after their family members allegedly tried to sneak contraband into the jail.
The fire was quickly put out by other inmates, no one was hurt and evacuations were unnecessary.

Pope is being held on auto burglary and credit card fraud charges.  Morehead-Gerco was convicted of meth possession with the intent to distribute within a correctional facility.
Both now also face arson charges.
