A juvenile in Canton is behind bars for the shooting death of a fellow teenager.
Police report that 17-year-old Tazavier Elder is behind bars for allegedly killing 19-year-old Raul Jones, Jr. in the 900 block of South Liberty Street. The shooting is said to have taken place on Wednesday.
Jones was shot multiple times at the location, per authorities. Elder is charged with murder in connection to the case and is being held in the Madison County Detention Center.
Law enforcement have yet to establish a motive for the shooting.
