Another season of high school basketball is in the books in Mississippi and the most prolific female and male players have been honored for their achievements on the court.
Here are the players selected as the girls’ and boys’ basketball ambassadors for each of the state’s seven classifications.
Miss Basketball Award winners:

- 4A – Mattison Bell — Choctaw Central
- 5A – Dekyra Mitchell — Holmes County

- 7A – Tootie Lockett — Starkville
Mr. Basketball Award winners:
