An overnight police chase ended with four people in custody after a stolen vehicle was crashed in a parking lot at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport.
Law enforcement told WLBT-TV that officers with the Capitol Police Department noticed a stolen SUV. Upon trying to pull the vehicle over, the driver fled and led officers onto U.S. Highway 80. Officers with the Pearl Police Department joined the pursuit as the SUV entered Pearl city limits. The vehicle eventually left the highway and drove onto airport property, where it collided in a lot near the terminal.
Authorities said no one was seriously injured in the incident. The suspects were taken into custody at the scene.
Multiple agencies assisted in the chase. The names of the individuals arrested have not been released.
