A federal agency and a firearm trade association are offering a combined $5,000 reward for information that could land suspects involved in a Southaven gun store burglary behind bars.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms has paired up with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) to incentivize the public to help locate six individuals who broke into Dabbs Gun and Pawn on U.S. Highway 51 and stole weapons as well as other items.

An SUV was caught on camera crashing into the firearm store with the occupants engaging in a smash-and-grab burglary.

“ATF is committed to working with our law enforcement partners to apprehend the suspects responsible for this crime before they commit any more crimes,” said ATF Special Agent in Charge Joshua Jackson. “ATF’s Crime Gun Intelligence, in conjunction with other investigative resources, will also be used to recover the stolen firearms.”

The reward is part of a national cooperative initiative between the ATF and NSSF in which the trade association matches rewards in cases involving the theft of guns from federally licensed firearms retailers.

ATF field offices in Oxford, Little Rock, Ark., and Memphis, Tenn., are investigating the theft with assistance from agents from industry operations.
