Mississippi Lottery has released the eight pups that stood out from over 3,300 dog photo submissions to secure the top spots in the 2024 Lucky Dog promotion.
Panel members narrowed the initial submissions down to 25, with the public picking the best photos through an online ballot process.
The dogs with the most votes out of the nearly 6,500 ballots cast include:
- “Stitch” from Columbus
- “Ella Grace” from Pelahatchie
- “Rio” from Calhoun City
- “Molly” from Hattiesburg
- “Clover” from Baldwyn
- “Wilson” from Madison
- “Snickers” from Pelahatchie
- “Zeke” from New Hebron
The competition’s winners will have their images featured on a future scratch-off over the summer, as well as have their owners receive $1,000 cash each. The winners have since been mailed certified letters containing their prize.
