Alcorn State to face off against North Texas in NIT Wednesday night

The Alcorn State men’s basketball team will begin postseason play on Wednesday.

The Braves (18-13, 15-3 SWAC), coming off a regular season SWAC championship, will take on North Texas (26-7, 16-4 Conference USA) in Denton, Texas at 7 p.m. CT. The game between the Braves and the Mean Green will be streamed on ESPN+.

On the season, sophomore guard Joshua Byron’s 11.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game lead the way for the Braves.
