As President Donald Trump and his administration continue to crack down on undocumented immigrants living in the U.S., one of the latest raids happened on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
According to FBI Jackson, agents worked with officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to take seven individuals into custody in Long Beach on Thursday. They were arrested at a construction site, per a report from WLOX.
The arrests in Long Beach come after a raid earlier this month, in which 48 undocumented immigrants were arrested when traveling through Harrison County. In March, Rankin County law enforcement officers aided federal agents in arresting 25 individuals traveling through the area without proof of citizenship.
