Ole Miss has been selected as one of six college baseball teams set to compete in the 2026 Astros Foundation College Classic.
The MLB’s Houston Astros announced on Tuesday that the Rebels will join Texas, Baylor, Ohio State, UTSA, and national title runner-up Coastal Carolina at Daikin Park, formerly Minute Maid Park, from Feb. 27 through March 1.
Ole Miss will appear in a trio of contests in the tournament. First on deck will be Baylor on Friday, Feb. 27, followed by Ohio State on Saturday, Feb. 28, and concluding with Coastal Carolina on Sunday, March 1. Single-day tickets and three-day tournament packages will go on sale at a later date.

This past season, Mike Bianco’s club returned to the NCAA Tournament after a two-year hiatus. The Rebels were also selected as a regional host for the first time since 2021 and ultimately ended the year at Swayze Field after falling to eventual Omaha hopeful Murray State.
Ole Miss will return ace pitcher Hunter Elliott, along with a myriad of other productive starters, to compete alongside a litany of players from the transfer portal when the 2026 campaign begins in February.
