An investigation is underway after eight people were shot outside a Jackson nightclub early Monday morning.
Officers with the Capitol Police Department were called to North Mart Plaza shortly after midnight. Upon arriving, they found eight individuals, ranging between 21 and 40 years old, suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were transported to a local hospital, where one remains in critical condition. The other seven were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
