Police have locked up four individuals believed to be connected with the death of 16-year-old Ayden Reno, a student and football player at Grenada High School.
The Grenada Police Department announced the arrests of three suspects on Monday before a fourth was taken into custody on Tuesday.
18-year-old Lamarion Henderson, 16-year-old Nickolus Brown, and 15-year-old Zacarias Steward were each charged with first degree-murder by deliberate design. Their bonds have been set at $250,000 apiece. 18-year-old Ryan Spencer was charged with accessory to murder. All four are being housed at the Grenada Couty Jail.
Reno died on the night of Sept. 22 in the area of Leigh Avenue, where a shooting had taken place. Law enforcement at the scene found the teen’s body unresponsive. An autopsy will determine the cause of death, though investigators feel sure foul play was part.
The Grenada Police Department is continuing to investigate Reno’s passing. Anyone with relevant information in the case is asked to call (662) 226-1211.
