The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting on the campus of Alcorn State University.
According to MBI, campus police officers responded Saturday at approximately 6:30 p.m. to a call regarding shots fired in the Industrial Technology Building. Upon arrival, officers found three people suffering from gunshot wounds. One person received fatal injuries.
According to Vicksburg Daily News, the woman who died from her injuries was identified as Brekyra Fisher, 29, by the Claiborne County coroner.
No arrests have been made at this time.
