A 16-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting into an occupied home, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Officers responded to the 5600 block of Spencer Drive around 2:46 p.m. on Oct. 25 after reports of gunfire striking an occupied residence. Detectives later identified the suspect as Charles Bracey Jr., who witnesses said was seen inside a blue vehicle with trash bags covering the windows at the time of the shooting.
Investigators obtained a warrant for Bracey’s arrest on Tuesday. He was taken into custody by JPD and charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and drive-by shooting
Police said Bracey appeared before a municipal court judge and was denied bond.
