Colder weather has arrived after an unseasonably warm Christmas in Mississippi. Here’s your statewide forecast from the National Weather Service.
Northern Mississippi
A sunny day is expected, but highs will only climb into the lower 40s. Come nighttime, skies should remain clear with lows dropping into the mid 20s.
Central Mississippi
It will be a mostly sunny day with highs in the upper 40s. After the sun goes down, there will be some clouds as lows will drop into the mid to upper 20s.
Southern Mississippi
After some morning-time clouds, the skies are expected to clear with the sun coming out. Highs will be in the lower to mid 50s before lows drop to the low 30s at night.
