It’s going to be a gorgeous first day of spring, with lots of sunshine and highs in the 80s. Here’s your statewide forecast from the National Weather Service.

Northern Mississippi

It will be a sunny start to the weekend, with highs in the lower 80s. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s.

Central Mississippi

Today will be sunny with patchy fog in the morning and highs in the lower 80s. Tonight will be mostly clear, with lows in the upper 50s.

Southern Mississippi

Today will be sunny with patchy morning fog. Highs will be near 80. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the mid to upper 50s.
