The time of year is here where college football players will get the chance to hear their names called as part of the NFL Draft.
The 2026 edition kicked off Thursday night outside Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh and will run through Saturday. Last year’s draft saw a record eight Ole Miss players selected, but outside of that, it was quiet for in-state programs.
Ole Miss and Mississippi State had a combined six players invited to the scouting combine earlier this year. While Southern Miss and the state’s HBCUs did not have any players attend, that doesn’t mean they won’t hear their names called this weekend.
Keep up with where prospects from Mississippi schools land in the 2026 NFL Draft below.

Stribling, in his one year with the Rebels, logged 811 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 55 receptions, helping lead Ole Miss to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff. The Hawaii native proved solid for the red and blue throughout the 2025-26 campaign and was especially effective down the stretch, with big moments in the Egg Bowl and the postseason.
